BOC Port of Subic and SBMA head discuss future plans

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño welcomes Atty. Ricardo U. Morales II, CESE, the District Collector of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic, for an official meeting to discuss strategic initiatives and future plans.

The meeting centered on the ongoing memorandum between the BOC and SBMA aimed at enhancing the development of the Port of Subic. Both leaders expressed their commitment to streamlining operations and improving services to stakeholders, ensuring faster and more efficient transactions with the government.

During the meeting, Morales and Aliño agreed to strengthen collaboration between the BOC and SBMA, underscoring the importance of cohesive efforts in driving growth and maximizing the potential of the Port of Subic.

“This collaboration between the BOC and SBMA marks a significant step towards the development and enhancement of the Port of Subic,” said District Collector Morales. “Together, we aim to create a more conducive environment for business and trade, ultimately benefitting our stakeholders and contributing to the economic growth of the region.”
