Subic Bay Freeport – The Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic, under the leadership of District Collector Noel C. Estanislao, successfully concluded a Basic Fire Prevention Training for its officers and personnel. The activity was facilitated by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Fire Department headed by their Department Manager Mr. Ranny D. Magno.
The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of BOC personnel on fire prevention measures, emergency response, and the proper use of firefighting equipment. Participants were introduced to essential fire safety concepts, evacuation procedures, and hands-on demonstrations on fire extinguisher operation and first response tactics.

District Collector Estanislao expressed his appreciation for the SBMA Fire Department’s continued partnership in ensuring the safety and readiness of BOC personnel. “This training is a vital step in fostering a culture of safety within our workplace. Through this, we empower our people not just to act, but to act correctly and confidently during emergencies,” he said.
The activity supports the Bureau of Customs’ 5-Point Priority Program under Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, specifically under Organizational Development and Trade Facilitation, by ensuring that all personnel are equipped with basic safety competencies necessary to protect lives, property, and cargo within the Freeport.
