MINALIN, Pampanga – Fourth district Rep.Juan Pablo “Rimpy” Bondoc on Sunday endorsed Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda as the next governor of Pampanga to his constituents.
The endorsement was made during the 64th birthday celebration of Minalin Mayor Edgar Flores where the solon and the vice governor and other local chief executives in the fourth district were invited.
During his speech, Bondoc endorsed Pineda’s gubernatorial bid for May 2019 polls.
Bondoc dismissed rumors about him running as governor of the province and instead forged an alliance with Pineda.
Pineda, for his part, offered friendship to Bondoc, whose relationship was tainted years ago.
“Mas matibay at matimbang ang pagkakaibigan kesa sa pulitika,” Pineda said during his speech.
Pineda will run as governor of Pampanga along with his mother Governor Lilia Pineda as his runningmate.
Bondoc will be seeking for re-election in the House of Representatives.
