Bridging communities: Shore360’s heartwarming outreach to Porac’s Aeta community

In the vibrant landscape of Pampanga, Shore360 has proven that true corporate success extends far beyond financial achievements. On December 1, 2024, the company’s ShoreFoundation transformed a typical Sunday into a day of hope, compassion, and meaningful connection with the Aeta community in Porac. This remarkable outreach program stands as a testament to the company’s deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility and community support.

The event was nothing short of extraordinary, bringing together an impressive coalition of support. Over 60 volunteers from Shore360 and Shore360 Agency and representatives from Shore360 Clients – Weld Connect, Gegenx, Numbers Australia, Dispense Assist, Genbiome, Dataline, Hip Pocket, Watkins Steel, Careo, Healthbright, One Fine Collective, OFC Aust, Janison, Smoke Alarms Australia, Why Birds, The Quote Company, Walshs & Jaix came together with a shared purpose.

This collaborative effort was made possible through a strategic partnership with the Philippine Eagles, an organization that had already identified the Aeta community as being in critical need of support.

A Day of Giving

The outreach program was a financial triumph, raising an impressive Php 200,000, with approximately Php 160,000 directly invested in supporting the Aeta community. The donations went far beyond mere financial contributions. Volunteers carefully selected and brought essential items that would make a tangible difference in the lives of community members.

Shoes brought infectious joy to children, their faces lighting up with excitement as they received new footwear. Comfortable pajamas offered warmth and dignity. Practical supplies like rice and noodles addressed immediate nutritional needs. The donation of electronics, including a printer, TV, and computer, provided tools for education and connection to the wider world.

For those involved, the day was about more than just donations. Jeffery Michael Brown, Shore360’s Director for Client Services, shared a personal reflection that captured the event’s spirit. “Shore360 & its clients are proud to have been able to help the Aeta community,” he said. “We were humbled by the warmth and welcoming nature of the Aeta people. The Shore360 staff members made a true difference and we are committed to doing more in the Aeta community and others in the months and years to come.”

One volunteer recounted the most memorable moment of distributing shoes, describing the children’s unbridled excitement. The day was punctuated by laughter, games, and moments of genuine human connection that bridged cultural and economic divides.

A History of Giving: ShoreFoundation’s Broader Impact

The Aeta community outreach is not an isolated event but part of a broader commitment to community support. ShoreFoundation has a proven track record of supporting various charitable organizations. In the past, Shore360 have supported Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue and Shelter by donating money, medicine and food for animals, and blankets. They have also supported other charities including Tuloy Foundation Pampanga and Duyan ni Maria.

The foundation’s primary goal is simple yet powerful: to help local communities through internal and external fundraising and donations. It’s Shore360’s way of acknowledging the community that has provided them with exceptional talent and support.

The work doesn’t stop here. Shore360 has ambitious plans for continued support. They aim to furnish a school library for the Aeta community and implement a reading program for children from kindergarten to sixth grade. The company is preparing for future support during potential disaster relief efforts and continues to support the Animal Kingdom Foundation through cash donations and providing medicine and blankets.

A Model of Corporate Social Responsibility

This outreach program demonstrates that businesses can be a force for positive change. It’s not just about corporate social responsibility – it’s about creating genuine, meaningful connections that uplift entire communities.

For the Aeta community in Porac, December 1, 2024, was more than just a day of receiving donations. It was a day of dignity, hope, and the powerful realization that they are seen, valued, and supported.

As Shore360 continues to grow, its commitment to community remains unwavering – a beacon of hope in the corporate landscape, proving that true success is measured not just in profits, but in the lives touched and communities transformed.
