A British national on Tuesday was found dead inside his home in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police director Col.Amado Mendoza identified the foreigner as Melvyn Roy Hayward, 72, of No. 2578 Lourdes Drive, A. Santos, Balibago, Angeles City.
Hayward was found unresponsive by his live in partner Hannah Joy Yerro, 32, prompting her to seek assistance from barangay officials, who informed the police.
The responding cops were told by Yerro that she tried to wake up Hayward, who fell asleep after arriving from work, but to no avail.
Yerro added that Hayward had a heart problem and was hospitalized after suffering from a stroke in 2021.
The SOCO team initially assessed there was no sign of foul play in the foreigner’s death.
