LUBAO, Pampanga – The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is bringing its Piso Caravan to Lubao, Pampanga, allowing residents to exchange damaged or unfit banknotes for new ones.
The event will take place on February 13, 2025, at San Vicente High School, San Vicente, Lubao, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. GRBank, a BSP Currency Exchange Center, will facilitate the transactions.
BSP-supervised financial institutions interested in joining the Piso Caravan Program are encouraged to coordinate with the nearest BSP regional office or branch. Banknotes will be assessed based on BSP’s 3S standard: size, signature, and security thread.
