BSP suspends e-payment fees, urges public to use digital banking

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has suspended all e-payment fees as online banking services become the ‘new normal’ this pandemic season.

The suspension is effective 6 months from BSP’s announcement last March 8.

The central bank is urging the public to utilize online banking transactions as its operations remains uninterrupted.

“We are on a public health crisis, not a financial crisis.” BSP said.
