CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – The Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) launched its ‘Brigada Eskwela’ Project in a remote public school in the mountain town of Dona Remedios Trinidad early this week.
Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., said that the PPSC headed by Supt. Frankie Candelario initiated their Brigada Eskwela Project at the far-flung Camachin Elementary School in Brgy. Camachin, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan.
A total of ninety-eight (98) students from the mountainous areas of Dona Remedios Trinidad , Bulacan benefited from the project, Caramat said.
He said that Candelaria and his men at the PPSC has adopted the students in the said school which carries the theme “Hawak Kamay para sa Iyong Tagumpay,” (Adopt a Student Project).
Caramat said the objective of the project is for one police officer to see to it that a pupil will be provided with school supplies and other provisions such as school uniforms and supplies, bags, and other necessities so as to motivate them to study well and finish their studies.
Caramat commended Candelaria and PPSC saying that this program will enhance the relationship between the PNP and the public and gain the trust and confidence of the community by winning their hearts and as well as their minds.—EMIL G. GAMOS
