Baliaug Mayor Ferdinand Estrella and four others in Bulacan province have tested positive of the coronavirus or COVID-19.
The Bulacan Provincial Health Office has confirmed four individuals have tested positive for Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) as of March 16.
The latest information according to the PHO of Bulacan, from one patient last Sunday’s report, three more Bulakenyos were inflicted of said virus wherein one from Guiguinto town, one in the City of Malolos and another one from the City of San Jose Del Monte.
CSJDM Mayor Arthur Robes confirmed that the latest was a male resident in the said city. It was the second patient that afflicted with the viral disease, the first is a 58-year-old woman placing the City of San Jose del Monte under a city-wide quarantine situation.
Mayor Robes said the two patients with COVID-19 virus positive were from the villages of Graceville and Muzon.
The city health office announced that its two COVID 19 patients are now confined in an undisclosed hospital in the National Capital Region and contact tracing are being done to people who might have direct physical contacts with the patients and disinfection procedures are being done in their places of residences. He also added that as of Monday, March 16, 8 a.m.
5 patients are now under investigation (PUIs) in the city while 98 patients under monitoring (PUMs) and underwent 14 days home quarantine. Meanwhile, the local government unit of this city through the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution 11 Series of 2020 has released the guidelines for its city-wide quarantine for the viral disease COVID 19.
In an advisory released by the city information office, the guidelines include the classes in all levels, public and private school are all suspended and the mass gatherings shall be prohibited.
The Community Quarantine Checkpoints are now installed on the following areas such as Sapang Alat, Barangay San Manuel Evergreen, Barangay Gaya-gaya Harmony Hills, Barangay Muzon Dela Costa, Barangay Graceville, and Barangay San Isidro Employees working in NCR and other cities and municipalities are allowed to enter and exit CSJDM (Must present company ID at checkpoints) and flexible work arrangement are encouraged in the private sector.
Bulacan establishes 20 quarantine checkpoints with Metro Manila boundaries Meanwhile, a of 20 community quarantine checkpoint areas were established by the Philippine National Police in the boundaries of Bulacan and Metro Manila. Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, regional police director of Central Luzon, said in a text message that eight of the checkpoints were established in Meycauayan City, seven in Obando town, four in the City of San Jose del Monte and one in Marilao town.
The eight checkpoints in Meycauayan City were established in Barangay Malhacan via NLEX Service road – Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City; Barangay Libtong NLEX Service Road – Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City; Barangay Tugatog, Tugatog Road -Valenzuela boundary; Barangay Bancal, Macarthur Highway – Barangay Malanday Valenzuela City; Barangay Lawa, East Service Road NLEX – Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City; Barangay Langka, Langka Road – Punturin, Valenzuela City; Cherubin Garden Subdivision, Cherubin Road – Caloocan City and Bankers Village, Bahay Pari Road – Bagumbayan, Caloocan City.
The Obando checkpoints were established in Barangay Panghulo, F.Valenzuela Street – Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City. Barangay Panghulo, Kalye Banat- Villa Paransillo Valenzuela City; Barangay Panghulo, F Navarete Street- Malabon City; Barangay Katanghalan, Joaquin street – Barangay Polo, Valenzuela City; Barangay Paco Palapala street – Barangay wawang Pulo, Valenzuela City; Barangay Paliwas, Maripas street -Valenzuela City and Barangay Lawa, Robles Subdivision, Deato street – Barangay Wawang Pulo, Valenzuela City. The San Jose del Monte city checkpoinst were set upped in Evergreen Subdivision Block 1, Barangay Gaya-gaya – Bagong Silang, Caloocan City; Harmony Hills, Lucas Chua street, Barangay Muzon – Bagong Silang, Caloocan City; Pleasant View, Saphirre street Phase 1 B, Barangay San Manuel – Bagong Silang, Caloocan City and Sitio Sapang Alat, along quirino Highway, Barangay San Manuell – Malaria Caloocan City. In Marilao town the checkpoint was placed in Shelterville Bridge-Bagong Silang Caloocan City.
