Presiding Officer and Vice Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado led the 10th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bulacan during its inaugural session held at the Bulwagang Senador Benigno S. Aquino Jr. at the Provincial Capitol, City of Malolos on Monday.
All of the elected Board Members from the districts and representing sectors including the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Districts, Association of Barangay Captains, Provincial Councilors League, Sangguniang Kabataan and Indigenous sector were all present during the opening of the 10th session.
Alvarado encouraged provincial legislators to support Governor Daniel R. Fernando and serve Bulakenyos with sincerity and do their job honestly and with fear of God.
Each board member was given a chance to have their privilege speech and vowed to support each and everyone in the Sanggunian Panlalawigan particularly Governor Fernando’s”Peoples Agenda 10″.
Alvarado added the regular weekly session will be held every Thursdays.
Board Member Erlene “Pechay” Dela Cruz from the 2nd District is the Senior Board Member; BM Allan Ray Baluyot of the 4th District is the Majority Floor Leader; Board Member Jong Ople (1st district) and Board Member Monet Posadas (2nd District) were appointed Assistant Majority Floor Leader while Board Member Allan Posadas of 1st District is the Minority Floor Leader.
