ANGELES CITY – A 12 year old Grade 7 student was killed by a butcher on Thursday, according to the Angeles City Police Office.
PCol Joyce Patrick Sangalang, City Director of the Angeles City Police Office who dispatched a follow-up operation led to the arrest of butcher Jordan C. Banalnal, 32 years old, at around 3;30pm in his residence at Purok 4, Barangay Amsic.
The raiding team led by PMajor Fercel Deloria of Police Station 2 also confiscated the bladed weapon reportedly used in stabbing the victim identified as Elmira S. Herman of Jesus St., Brgy Lourdes North West, Angeles City. The blood-stained cloth of Banalnal was also recovered.
Investigation showed that around 3pm, Rodel De Dios, Barangay Ex-O of Brgy LNW reported the crime to Police Station 2.
According to the mother of the victim identified as Jinky Herman, 39 years old, single, chicken vendor, she along with her live-in partner Marlon Mejarito, left for work at around 3am on January 2, 2019. When they arrived at the work place, they noticed Banalnal left immediately.
At around 12nn after arriving from work, Jinky found the lifeless body of her daughter in the living room, with a wound on the neck. The suspect was brought to Police Station 2 pending the filing of appropriate charges against him.
