
STA. RITA, PAMPANGA — Newly elected Mayor Reynan Calo vowed to prioritize key programs focusing on education, senior citizens’ welfare, and the preservation of local culture and arts during his term.

In his inaugural address, Calo promised financial assistance for all college students without any grade cut-off. “Lahat ng mag-aaral sa kolehiyo ay magkakaroon ng financial assistance at walang cut off,” he declared.

Calo also committed to providing monthly maintenance medicine support for senior citizens, recognizing their need for consistent healthcare.

“Lahat ng mga senior citizens ay magkakaroon ng buwanang maintenance sa kanilang mga gamot,” he added.

The mayor emphasized the importance of preserving local heritage by boosting support for Arti Sta. Rita, the town’s musical pride, and the annual Duman Festival, which celebrates Sta. Rita’s cultural identity.
