Canon empowers businesses to bring production printing in-house with the latest imagePRESS C270 and C265

Canon recently announced the launch of its latest imagePRESS C270 and C265 that are engineered to help businesses facilitate light production projects in-office amid hybrid work. As with the company’s award-winning[1] imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX multi-function devices, the two new color light production devices provide absolute ease of use with the same intuitive interface and navigation, along with producing high quality, creative applications in-house and on-demand.

“Lately, we’ve noticed the increased operational activity that printing companies are experiencing,” said Mr. Kenichiro Kitamura, Director of Office Imaging Products (OIP), Canon Philippines. “Clients are naturally demanding for more promotional materials that can attract potential customers who have started visiting physical establishments again. Even as companies continue adjusting with the new ways of working, business is picking back up again and we are proud to offer print houses and production offices a capable and flexible device that helps them deliver high-quality materials, wherever they are.”

The imagePRESS C270 prints up to 80 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white, and 70 ppm in color, while the imagePRESS C265 prints up to 70 ppm in black and white, and 65 ppm in color. The Multi-Density Adjustment Technology (Multi-D.A.T.) enables the devices to perform real-time density adjustments while printing. Color fluctuations can be prevented such that consistently high-quality applications can be produced even when printing in large volumes. Additionally, the devices feature diverse print resolutions, including 190 lines per inch (lpi) and 170 lpi to attain high resolution images and text with superb clarity.

Designed to fulfil varied printing requirements, the imagePRESS C270 and C265 help users handle distinctive print formats including envelopes, heavy media, and long-sheet banners, alongside the standard A4 and A3 media. Providing further flexibility, the devices support gloss, silk, plain and textured media, as well as a large range of in-line professional finishing. A new Multi-Drawer Paper Deck option addresses the need for high print volumes and mixed media with a maximum paper capacity of up to 8,500 sheets.

Equipped with fast print speeds, high image quality and flexible media handling, the imagePRESS C270 and C265 improve efficiency by empowering businesses with the ability to create professional-looking marketing collateral such as catalogues, flyers, pamphlets, and posters in-house while meeting fast turnaround time.

Supporting hybrid work, the imagePRESS C270 and C265 integrate seamlessly with uniFLOW Online, a cloud-based print management solution that enables in-office and remote workers to collaborate easily, automating batch scanning, naming, filing, and routing of documents to various cloud destinations. The devices also offer swift scan speeds of up to 270 images per minute (ipm) at 300 dots per inch (dpi) and come with a wide range of security features including a new auto recovery for system verification at startup, along with standard support for Trusted Platform Module.

The latest imagePRESS C270 and C265 is now available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers. Follow @CanonPhils on LinkedIn and Facebook for the latest news and announcements.
