Capas sends-off COVID-19 recovered patient

CAPAS, Tarlac (PIA) — Municipal government of Capas sent off one frontline worker who recovered from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Finally, our nurse who was infected with COVID-19 tested negative in her recent swab test,” Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan disclosed.

30 Ospital Ning Capas (ONC) employees, the patient’s husband, and the patient’s son, all tested negative in the swab testing conducted.

In behalf of the municipal government, Catacutan congratulated #TP182 for recovering from the deadly disease.

“We congratulate you, what you have been through is not easy yet with the courage you have shown in this battle, we salute you,” Catacutan said.

To ensure full recovery, TP#182 will still undergo the mandatory 14-day home quarantine.

With the employees testing negative for COVID-19, doctors and nurses of ONC resumed their hospital duties, hence, resumed hospital operations.

For her part, Municipal Health Officer Franchette Reyes reminded Capaseños to continue following preventive measures.

“To all Capaseños, not because we had a recovered patient we will now become at ease, we continually remind everyone to strictly follow guidelines,” Reyes said.
