Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio Cardinal David surprised parishioners in Caloocan City when he arrived on an e-trike to celebrate Mass at the San Vicente Ferrer Mission Station on Sunday, December 22.
The humble mode of transportation went unnoticed by many, as attendees expected the Cardinal to arrive in a more formal vehicle. Mission station coordinator Margie Lepiten shared her amazement on social media, noting, “No one noticed the arrival of our Cardinal Ambo because we thought he would use a nice vehicle. He even arrived ahead of the ushers.”
Cardinal David’s simplicity and timely arrival drew admiration from the community, reflecting his commitment to pastoral service and approachability.
