Catriona Gray’s iconic gowns at SM City Clark

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s iconic gowns created by Kapampangan designer Mak Tumang were recently displayed at SM City Clark (SMCK).

Tumang, son of Mexico town Mayor Teddy Tumang, graced the opening of the exhibit called, “Catriona.”

Tumang’s signature creations have elaborate designs, intricate embroidery, and detailed lacework.

Displayed at SMCK’s Event Centre were Mayon, Catriona’s Miss Universe finals gown; Perla Oriente, her homecoming concert gown; Adarna, Miss Universe preliminary gown; Sinag, Binibining Pilipinas finals gown; Sampaguita, grand homecoming parade dress; Coral, homecoming press conference dress; and Alon, her Araneta homecoming parade dress.

The “Catriona by Mak Tumang” exhibit, which were displayed from March 9-10, coincided with the third week of the 10th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) which drew hundreds of viewers from Metro Manila and Central Luzon.

“We intentionally coincided the Catriona exhibit with the PIPC so many of our fellow Kapampangans and guests from other cities get to see Mak Tumang’s masterpieces,” Andrea Madlangbayan, SMCK mall manager, said.
