CDC, BIR discuss tax policies, compliance initiatives

QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera led a delegation of CDC officials in a meeting with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. to discuss tax-related policies and initiatives promoting transparency and business compliance.

The dialogue, held on April 3 at the BIR National Office in Diliman, Quezon City, underscored CDC’s efforts to maintain a business-friendly tax environment while aligning with national regulations. Also present were CDC Directors Atty. Nicolette Henson and Atty. Paul Christian Cervantes, and CDC Vice President for Legal Affairs Atty. Gloria Victoria Yap-Taruc.

The engagement served as a platform to reinforce CDC’s commitment to compliance and open collaboration with regulatory agencies, especially in support of ongoing economic development efforts in the Clark Freeport Zone.

Other CDC officials in attendance included Litigation Division Manager Atty. Azee Arcilla and Atty. Mary Therese Gabrielle Estioko. BIR OIC-Deputy Commissioner for Legal Group Atty. Larry Barcelo also joined the discussions.

CDC Assistant Vice President for Finance Alizaido Paras participated in the coordination efforts, although not present in the group photo.
