The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Clark Museum has opened its latest exhibit, “Tipos del País,” running from October 11 to November 11, 2024.
This exhibit features a series of dioramas showcasing everyday life in Pampanga, known for its rich cultural heritage and traditions.
CDC President Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera delivered the opening remarks and led the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Deputy Consul General Adrian Elmer Cruz from the Philippine Consulate General in New York. Devanadera expressed, “This exhibit not only celebrates our culture but also strengthens our commitment to preserving Pampanga’s rich heritage.” She also lauded the successful mobile press conference held yesterday with the Central Luzon Media Association, facilitated by the Clark Loop bus in collaboration with CDC and AF Payments Inc. (BEEP).
Recognized as a Woman Leader of the Year by the Asian CEO Awards, Devanadera oversaw the launch alongside the CDC’s designation as one of the Company of the Year Awardees.
Created by a talented team of artists—including Dodjie Aguinaldo, Fernando Yumuli, Mark Wilson Sagum, Burt Santiago, Tetu Lozano, Aprille Gagui, Zed Moreno, and Richard Escotto—these dioramas vividly depict Pampangan life, from markets to festivals.
Each piece invites visitors to engage with the region’s customs, featuring intricate details that reflect Pampangan culture, such as traditional clothing and local architecture.
“Tipos del País” not only highlights Pampanga’s artistic talent but also underscores the significance of cultural preservation in today’s global landscape.
