CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga – Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has secured a P300-million investment from Harness Master Wiring Systems (HMWS) Inc. as part of the company’s expansion plans within the Clark Freeport Zone.
The project is expected to generate at least 200 new jobs.
HMWS Inc., a manufacturing firm specializing in automotive electrical systems and industrial equipment and a Clark locator since 2011, formalized the expansion agreement with CDC at the Clark Visitors Center.
CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanadera underscored the corporation’s role in building an environment that supports both business growth and employee welfare.
“As the estate manager, CDC must help provide the facilities and environment that foster real work-life balance. The best way to maintain industrial peace is by reaching out to workers and ensuring they have the necessary resources,” she said.
HMWS Inc. President and Chairman of the Board Kevin John Woodbine highlighted the firm’s long-standing relationship with Clark as the foundation for the expansion.
“This is a continuation of what I would describe as a successful partnership between our vision and the remarkable work ethic of the Filipino people,” Woodbine said.
He also announced the development of new amenities for employees.
“We are introducing sports facilities, gym facilities, and health facilities for our staff. That’s something we’re very proud of,” he added.
Recognizing the changing business landscape, Woodbine praised CDC for its evolving support.
“In the past few years, it has been refreshing to see a CDC team that is proactive, innovative, visionary, and approachable,” he said.
Woodbine added that he has noticed a significant and impressive improvement in the corporation’s performance and extended his congratulations to the entire CDC team.
In addition to its core focus on automotive electrical systems, HMWS Inc. also engineers and fabricates industrial equipment for the mining, agriculture, and marine sectors. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Pampanga)
