
Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, recognized its top-performing travel agencies at the 19th Eagle Wings Awards held on March 11, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Iloilo City. A total of 52 agencies from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates received the prestigious award for their role in driving the airline’s success. CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao lauded the awardees, emphasizing their contributions to expanding travel opportunities and enriching passenger experiences.
As a gesture of appreciation, Cebu Pacific hosted a social night on March 12, co-presented by the Tourism Promotions Board, providing a platform for networking and celebration among its valued travel partners. CEB Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution Arlene Tena highlighted the vital role these agencies play in delivering seamless and memorable travel experiences, underscoring their importance in the airline’s continued growth. Iloilo City, chosen as the event’s venue, reflects its growing significance as a hub, with Cebu Pacific operating flights to 14 destinations, including new international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore, with Bangkok-Don Mueang set to launch on March 31.
Further strengthening its industry partnerships, CEB collaborated with the Tourism Promotions Board and the Department of Tourism Region VI to host a Business-to-Business (B2B) session with 20 local stakeholders. The initiative aimed to foster collaboration and explore new business opportunities within the travel sector. As the airline with the Philippines’ most extensive domestic network, Cebu Pacific continues to enhance connectivity, serving 37 domestic and 26 international destinations with flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Davao.
