
NUEVA ECIJA, Philippines – Members of the Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) and the Central Luzon Media Citizen Council (CLMCC) joined a tree-planting activity at the Rendezvous Area of Unigrow in Labi, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija on Friday, March 22. The initiative was part of ongoing efforts to protect the Sierra Madre Mountain range, a critical natural barrier against typhoons and a vital ecosystem in Luzon.


The event also marked the launch of the CLMCC Photo Exhibit, showcasing images that highlight the beauty and ecological significance of Sierra Madre. Organizers emphasized the role of media in environmental advocacy, urging greater awareness and action to preserve the country’s natural resources.
