A Chinese national was arrested in a successful buy-bust operation in Angeles City, Pampanga, yielding more or less 101 kilograms of suspected shabu, according to a report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga.
The illegal drugs, with an estimated street value of ₱686.8 million, were concealed in tea bags and confiscated by operatives from the PDEA and the Pampanga Police Provincial Office.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda extended his gratitude to the PDEA and PNP for their coordinated efforts in the operation, calling it a major victory in the fight against illegal drugs in the province.
