Chinese translator, 10 Koreans fall victim to thieves in Tarlac

A Chinese translator and 10 South Korean nationals on Thursday were robbed of personal belongings while staying at Athletic Village in Capas, Tarlac.

The Capas police identified the victims as Chinese translator Pan Hui, 33, of Beijing, China; and South Korean nationals Mun Hee Wan, Oh Seo Yeon, Ay Se Beom, Kim Yeong Nyoou, Kwon Sehyun, Park Jungju, Lee Jeong Min, Kim Sanha, Jung Ha Eun, and Jiho Seo Moon.

The police said they are temporarily staying at  Building A Room A301, A541, A542, A543, A544, A546 and A547  of the Athletic Village, NCC, in Bgy. Aranguren, Capas.

The foreigners told police probers they left their rooms around 7am on Thursday and returned at  12pm and discovered their personal belongings were missing including a Netbook, an IPad, an Apple Pencil, a Nintendo, an Aipod Max, an Air pod Pro, Huawei Matebook and P2,500 cash.

The Capas police are now investigating the incident.
