Clark Air Base Officers’ Ladies Club (CABOLC) organized a heartwarming gift-giving activity at Bale-Balayan, Museum for the Poor led by its Club President Gilda Padua, a tourism advocate who often brings tourists to the place.
Club Senior Adviser of CABOLC Dr. Mary Joyce Malinit said in her Christmas message “Kids, you inspire us with your passion to the arts. Your artistry is a gift to the community. Please continue performing to inspire more people. Always listen to your teacher so you will become better and better. We will remember what Sir Peter De Vera said to include your group to perform in some of our activities in Clark. We will visit you again, promise namin ‘yan”.
The joy and excitement on the children’s faces as they see boxes of goodies arranged in one corner created a memorable experience for the CAB ladies who are mostly first timers to Bale-Balayan. The ladies were moved to tears as they witnessed the heartfelt performances by the children. They also had a chance to perform with the kids using the indigenous materials.
Trully, it was a celebration of generosity and the spirit of giving, fostering a sense of community and spreading cheer during the holiday season.
