Clark Fire Olympics showcase team readiness, skill

CLARK FREEPORT – Fire brigade teams from various Clark locators demonstrated speed, coordination, and commitment during the recently held Clark Fire Olympics at the Parade Grounds.

Organized by the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) with support from Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) and several health organizations, the event featured a series of firefighting and rescue challenges, including fire extinguishment drills, rescue and transfer relays, and bucket relays.

PMGen. Lina Sarmiento (Ret.), CDC Vice President for Security Services, addressed the participants, praising their dedication to safety, preparedness, and community service.

The annual event aims to sharpen emergency response capabilities among locator teams and strengthen the culture of disaster readiness within the Freeport Zone.
