Clark locators join IEC webinar

A total of 80 representatives from various locators at the Clark Freeport Zone recently participated in a two-day Information and Education Campaign (IEC) Webinar.

With its theme “Bagong Kaalaman, Bagong Benepisyo tulong sa Empleyado sa Panahon ng Pandemya”, the IEC webinar aims to inform and update the participants regarding the programs undertaken by various government agencies in the time of pandemic.

The Clark Development Corporation, through its External Affairs Department (EAD) headed by CDC- AVP Rommel Narciso, partnered with Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Social Security System (SSS), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), LandBank, and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to further educate the locators on the latest processes and initiatives being carried out by each agency under the new normal.

Participants, who are mostly human resources practitioners of locator companies here, were also informed about the new online procedures of PhilHealth, SSS, and Landbank.

Meanwhile, DOLE discussed Employment Preservation while GSIS talked about their Insurance process and PAG IBIG Fund shared some details regarding their programs.

The roster of speakers during the said webinar include PhilHealth Accounts Information Management Specialist (PAIMS) Joven Liwanag, Chief Social Insurance Officer Annabelle Bautista-Imana, Local Health Insurance Officer (LHIO) Rowena T. Luciano, GSIS Marketing Manager Ma. Rosanna A. Sanchez, SSS Branch Head for Angeles City Normita M. Cruz, SSS Junior Analyst Francielyn Cuevas, and Acting Social Security Officer III Sigfred Manuel.

PAG IBIG Fund Branch Head for Angeles City Liberty C. Guerrero with Accounts Management Specialist Kathlyn Salas, Member Services Officer III Aaron Josef Nucum, LandBank Marketing Officer Valene Therese Torrecampo, and DOLE Officer-in- Charge Jose Roberto L. Navata were also among the presenters during the webinar.

The IEC is an annual activity facilitated by CDC-EAD. This event is also part of the various programs of the state-owned firm designed to help its locators on government statutory requirements and facilitate ease of doing business in the Freeport.
