Clark, Pampanga – Clark Marriott Hotel celebrated its first anniversary by giving back to the community.
Clark Marriott Hotel General Manager, Goeran Soelter, led the opening of its first-ever Run To Give, a benefit run for the Save The Children Philippines. Over a thousand runners from Pampanga, nearby provinces, and as far as Metro Manila participated in the run comprising of guests, partners, associates, Marriott Bonvoy and Club Marriott members.
The first 3 fastest male and female runners per category were given cash prizes. While overnight stays were given to 3 lucky runners during the raffle draw.
The event was supported by generous sponsors namely Clark Water, Mogu Mogu, Goju, Pocari Sweat, and Globe Telecom.
Run To Give is a key annual charity fundraising running event organized by Marriott International involving participating Marriott Hotels across the Asia Pacific. As a part of Marriott’s TakeCare movement, it aims to encourage associates to live their best life by promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and creating strong team synergy while making a difference in communities where Marriott International operates in.
Given its success, Clark Marriott Hotel plans to make Run To Give an annual event to commemorate its opening day on September 14, 2018. As of writing, Clark Marriott Hotel is the first and only internationally branded 5-star in Clark Freeport Zone and in North of Manila.
