There is a force more powerful than any disaster – that is generosity amid the most trying times.
In the spirit of Filipino Bayanihan, Clark Marriott Hotel through Marriott Worldwide Business Councils and Serve360 concluded its weeklong fundraising activity last January 26, through a dinner for a cause – A Night of Gratitude.
The culminating activity was held to raise funds for the victims of Taal Volcano eruption through ticket sales sold at 2,000 pesos.
Generosity poured in as many of the hotel’s local partners pledged support from event logistics to local band performances by Pot Pot & Friends, Kamp Sawi, Tea 4 Two, and pianist Chris Marshal and Ron Gray.
The dinner for a cause was made more special with food specially whipped up by the hotel’s culinary team led by its executive chef, Jan Broz. Its 5-star General Manager Goeran Soelter who used to be an Executive Chef prepared his own special dish as well. Adding local flavor are the chefs of Culinarya Pampanga – Chefs Sau del Rosario, Judy Uson, Cherry Tan, Elsa Jocson, and Josie Mendoza.
