The Clark Museum was recently recognized by Tripadvisor as one of the recipients of the Travelers’ Choice Awards for the year 2020.
According to Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) Tourism Promotions Division (TPD), the Clark Museum is the only attraction in the Freeport which was bestowed with such award.
The museum received an overall rating of four out of five from Tripadvisor’s official website, and 48 great reviews from guests. Visiting the museum also ranked third on the list of “16 things to do in Clark Freeport Zone.”
Tripadvisor’ Travelers’ Choice award or formerly known as “Certificate of Excellence” recognizes businesses that consistently earn great traveler reviews.
To qualify for Travelers’ Choice, a business must maintain an overall Tripadvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have received a minimum number of reviews in the 12-month period that the data was analyzed, and has been listed on Tripadvisor for at least one year.
Approximately ten percent of businesses listed on Tripadvisor received a Travelers’ Choice award and among these awardees include some of the best accommodation facilities in this Freeport.
Recently, six hotels in Clark were also recognized for their excellent accommodation services to guests and travelers.
The said hotels are Widus Hotel and Casino, Midori Hotel and Casino, The Mansion – Boutique Hotel, Park Inn by Radisson Clark, Clark Marriott Hotel, and Quest Hotel and Conference Center-Clark.
Currently, the Clark museum is one of the 12 attraction sites here. It features four galleries which house a collection of artifacts, true-to-life replicas, scenic dioramas, old photographs, murals, and interactive displays, among others.
It also has a state-of-the-art 4D theatre which offers an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind experience for guests to enjoy.
Last year, the Clark museum generated a total of 9,699 visitors from January to December 2020 despite being closed to the public for several months due to the restrictions brought about by the pandemic.
