CLTV Celebrates 14th Anniversary with “Anytime, Anywhere. Choose Truth” Campaign

Central Luzon’s number one TV station commemorated their 14th year on air last May 12, 2021.  Although traditional celebrations may be put on hold due to the pandemic, CLTV marks their magnificent achievement in the broadcast industry through the launch of their campaign, “Anytime, Anywhere.  Choose Truth.”

The celebration kicked off with an online Thanksgiving Mass held at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Church in the City of San Fernando, which was live streamed on CLTV’s official Facebook page.  For the men and women who make up CLTV, the occasion was also an opportunity to thank viewers, partners and advertisers, while reflecting on the impact of the station to Central Luzon, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since it first launched, CLTV has become synonymous in the region with breaking relevant and timely news and information. CLTV’s approach to news broadcasting and its commitment to serving the public with integrity and credibility has earned it recognition, winning numerous Best TV Station Awards from the KBP Golden Dove Awards, HAU Paragala and UPLB Gandingan.

On its 14th year, CLTV is continuing to evolve to meet the needs of its audience — not only through the traditional medium of television, but also through new media such as the internet and mobile, making it accessible to viewers anytime, anywhere, via live streaming and CLTV’s social media accounts.

CLTV also revealed its plans for digitization during the online event as the Philippines migrates fully to digital broadcast by 2023, but assured its analog TV viewers that no one will be left behind during this transition to digital.

CLTV President and General Manager Sonia P. Soto expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of viewers who continue to watch CLTV since it first hit the airwaves.  “Ipinagdiriwang natin ang ika-labing apat na anibersaryo ng CLTV na tigib ng pag-asa sa kabila ng pandemya. Mula noong isang taon, hanggang ngayon, hindi kami tumigil sa paghahatid ng totoo, wasto at mapagkakatiwalaang balita’t impormasyon,” she said.  (“We are celebrating the 14th anniversary of CLTV full of hope, despite the pandemic.  From a year ago, until now, we have not stopped delivering true, accurate and reliable news and information.”)

According to Soto, the people of Central Luzon are clamoring for local news and information about their provinces and their hometowns now more than ever due to the times we are currently living in.  She assured the viewers that CLTV will continue to be accessible to them both on TV and social media.  “Makakaasa po kayo na patuloy kaming maghahatid ng makabuluhang paglilingkod sa pamamagitan po ng aming mga de-kalidad na programa na maaari ninyong mapanood kung kailan niyo gusto, kung saan niyo gusto. Kahit saan, anumang oras.”  (“We assure you that we will continue to bring you relevant public service through quality programs which you can watch when you want, and where you want.  Whenever you want, at any time.”)

CLTV is the first and only regional TV station in the country.  Its founder, the late LausGroup of Companies Chairman and CEO Levy P. Laus, a visionary businessman with a mission of enabling public good, established CLTV in 2007 alongside his major businesses at the heart of Central Luzon in San Fernando, Pampanga. From its inception, the network was designed to serve the region through its locally oriented news, public affairs, and infotainment programs, and to promote countryside development.
