The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and SM Tarlac open Voter Registration Centers to provide more registration venues for Tarlac City residents. It will start from 8am-3pm and will run on July 14-15 and 20-23 at Level 3, Cinema Lobby.
This partnership aims to help ease and unburden voter registration traffic in barangays, while providing the public a more convenient, faster and safer way to avail the right to vote. SM Supermalls is providing free space and waived charges to essential conveniences so they can efficiently operate the registration centers.
The list of requirements for Registration, Transfer, and Reactivation is/are: National ID, Employer’s ID Card, Postal ID, PWD Discount ID, Student ID, Senior Citizen ID, Driver’s License, NBI Clearance, Passport, SSS/GSIS ID, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID, PRC ID, or any other valid ID.
For Change/Correction of Entries, Birth Certificate is needed if record contains erroneous entries; Marriage Contract/Court Order if change of name is by reason of marriage; and/or CENOMAR if change status is from married to single.
There will be a priority lane for Senior Citizen, PWD, Pregnant, and Indigenous Persons. Wear facemask, observe minimum health standard protocols, and bring your own ballpen for everyone’s safety.
