Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on February 5, 2025 tries the new facial recognition security of the Angeles City Command Center during his inspection in the newly-expanded office.
The newly-expanded Angeles City Command Center will be inaugurated on February 6, 2025 as the city government integrated advanced technology to enhance public safety.
“Wala na pong magiging blindspots ang Angeles City, lalo pong matututukan ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kababayan dahil sa expansion at bagong Command Center,” Lazatin said.
With the installation of additional CCTVs, a total of 375 cameras are now in place all over Angeles City.
Among the newly-installed cameras are eight license plate recognition CCTVs in the city’s boundaries in Porac, Mabalacat City, City of San Fernando, and Magalang.
Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Command Center Chief Michael Lising, Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, and Angeles City Tourism Officer joined Mayor Lazatin during the inspection.
