MANILA — The premises of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Quezon City and its regional and field offices in Luzon will be closed to clients and visitors.
In a statement, the CSC said the closure of its main, regional and field offices will be effective on Tuesday, March 17, until April 13.
The commission also issued an advisory on alternative work arrangements for all constitutional bodies, departments, bureaus and agencies of the national government, local government units, government-owned or controlled corporations; and state and local universities and colleges.
“Work arrangement of government agencies in Luzon shall now be limited to work from home except those agencies required to provide skeletal workforce under paragraph 4 thereof, as part of the implementation of the strict home quarantine policy,” the CSC said.
It added that work from home policy is allowed for the period of March 17 to April 13 or until the enhanced community quarantine in the entire Luzon is lifted.
“Report on the work from arrangement adopted by government agencies shall be submitted to the Civil Service Commission Regional Offices for records purposes,” the CSC said.On Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entire Luzon under “enhanced community quarantine” to control the spread of the coronavirus disease.
