CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The City Health Office here started to vaccinate in villages starting off with Barangay Sindalan where some 467 resident received 1st dose of vax jabs.
Walk-ins are still not allowed and barangay residents are advised to pre-register and wait for their schedule.
CHO is eyeing to set-up vaccination sites in other barangays but will first assess and determine if the strategy will be beneficial to Fernandinos.
“This move is part of our re-strategizing.
The CHO, headed by Dr. Carlos Mercado, will meet to make the assessment.
San Fernando has five permanent vaccination sites that regularly roll-out anti-COVID-19 vaccines.
CSF also started vaccinating the A5 priority group or the indigent population on August 26, 2021, and is planning to conduct house-to-house vaccination for bedridden Fernandinos.
