Former President and now House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo leads the unveiling ceremony of the street name sign renaming the 1 NAIA Gateway road, the main road leading to the Clark Global City, to the D.P. Macapagal Highway in honor of her late father, former President Diosdado Pangan Macapagal, the 9th President of the Philippines. Assisting her are: Juan Miguel Arroyo; Clark Development Corp. (CDC) Chairman Jose De Jesus with CDC officials and local officials. The unveiling ceremony coincided with the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a monument dedicated the late former Macapagal along the NAIA Gateway near the Clark Veterans’ Cemetery also at the Clark Global City.
