San Fernando, Pampanga – The Department of Agriculture distributed free-range chickens through the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) in partnership with the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa (BP2) Program in six provinces of Central Luzon recently.
This program aims to help farmers to have a livelihood. Each beneficiary received 60 free-range chickens.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of the BP2 reintegration site received 840 free-range chickens while the AMIA Villages received 600 heads of free-range chickens.
It was led by Regional Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa (BP2) Program Focal Person Zayra Toledo, beneficiaries of BP2, AMIA Villages, BP2 reintegration site and officials of the Department.
