DepEd 3 receives P8.8-million worth of tools from private sector

Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office 3 received P8.8 million worth of plumbing tools and equipment from Nikka Trading.

Andronica Roma, owner of Nikka Trading, turned over the 1,175 units of plumbing tools and equipment to Regional Director May Eclar.

Eclar said a total of 78 senior high schools in the region offering Plumbing and Electrical Installation and Maintenance specializations under the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Strand are the beneficiaries of the donations.

“We thank Nikka Trading for responding to Republic Act 8525, otherwise known as Adopt-A-School Program for the benefit of our Senior High School learners in our region,” she said.

Items donated include Pipe Benders, Pipe Reamers, and Pipe Cutters. 

Eclar and Roma signed the Memorandum of Agreement while school heads of the beneficiary Senior High Schools signed the Deed of Donations. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
