Touted as the largest urgent care facility in the country, BGHMC BUCAS is the 49th of its kind nationwide, the fifth in Central Luzon, and the first in Bataan. The facility is designed to provide fast and accessible medical services, including urgent care, diagnostics, and outpatient specialty consultations across various disciplines such as pediatrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and surgery.

The center also strengthens public health efforts through screening programs for cancer, HIV, STIs, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses. Officials say the project underscores the Department of Health’s commitment to decentralizing healthcare access, decongesting hospitals, and empowering local communities with reliable health solutions.
