Korean topokki buffet restaurant Dookki opened its doors in SM City Clark in Pampanga last Thursday, May 20.
The brand Dookki, which means “two meals”, refers to topokki and fried rice.
This buffet restaurant elevates the way the popular Korean street food tteokbokki is consumed. It allows customers to cook their topokki and fried rice according to their preferences.
Assistant Store Manager for Dookki – SM City Clark Jericho Bondoc said that Dookki PH is different from other countries as it has more products to offer than Dookki Korea.

It’s like Korea, what is it famous for? It’s famous for rice cakes, toppokki. But here, there are more products being offered]” Bondoc said.
This Korean buffet features eight kinds of sauces, including the Dookki original sauce, 24 kinds of toppings, four kinds of noodles, and six choices of fried items.
For only Php499 for adults and Php249 for kids four feet and below, everyone can enjoy their topokki with rice cakes, beef, shrimp, mussels, veggies, and noodles, as well as ready-to-eat fried items, fish cakes, fried rice, and japchae. The price also includes unlimited ramyeon noodles and drinks. This unlimited Korean buffet has a one and a half-hour time limit.
As a pro tip, Bondoc said that it is essential for customers to enjoy the “two meal” experience by first enjoying the rice cakes followed by the fried rice.
After having its first branch in SM City North Edsa in Manila and the second branch in Pampanga, Bondoc added that the Dookki brand plans to open about 10 stores for 2022.
