DOTr orders lifetime license revocation after CLLEX crash

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has ordered the perpetual revocation of the van driver’s license involved in the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEx) crash that killed five and injured eight.

The decision follows President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to hold reckless drivers accountable and ensure commuter safety.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has already suspended the driver’s license for 90 days and summoned the vehicle’s owner.

Police tests later confirmed the driver was positive for illegal drug use, compounding charges of negligence.
