The Department of Public Works and Highways – Aurora District Engineering Office (DPWH-ADEO) made a strong showing in the 1st Doña Aurora Cup and Aurora Day Volleyball Tournament, key sporting events in the 2025 Aurora Day festivities. The basketball team secured a runner-up finish at the San Luis Gymnasium, with standout player Archie Valenzuela of the Maintenance Section earning a spot in the Mythical Five.
Meanwhile, the Girls Volleyball Team competed at the Capitol Grounds and Pingit Covered Court. Though they did not place, Engr. Lenny Marie Paula Naraja of the Planning and Design Section was recognized as Best Libero for her impressive defensive skills.
The tournaments featured teams from various sectors, fostering camaraderie and competitive spirit among Aurorans. The annual sports events served as a platform for local talent to shine while strengthening community bonds through friendly competition.
