The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a 318-lineal meter road project at Barangay San Juan in Samal, Bataan.
Located in Lower Tiwala, the two-lane project includes grouted riprap on both sides, ensuring overall stability and resilience.
DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. stated that the newly paved road section now provides residents with improved connectivity.
“This project involves paving the previously rough section of the road, providing farmers with improved access between their lands and rice fields,” Flores added.
The construction of this concrete pavement also improves the condition of the pathway, making travel safer and more reliable, especially during bad weather.
The P4.95-million road project received funding under the 2024 General Appropriations Act. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Bataan)
