Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a multi-purpose building at barangay Centro II in Orani, Bataan.
The two-storey infrastructure was implemented by DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineering Office.
District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. said the P9.94 million facility is now being used by village officials for the delivery of social support services to their constituents.
The new barangay hall has a total floor area of 134.9 square meters.
“It was built to improve the service capability of barangay officials, allowing them to better accommodate more residents in need of basic services,” Flores added.
For his part, Punong Barangay Abel Salonga thanked DPWH for the newly completed facility.
He said this will be used not only as a venue for barangay activities but also as a temporary shelter during calamities. (CLJD-PIA 3)
