The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a P7.68-million road construction project in an agricultural community in Concepcion, Tarlac.

DPWH Tarlac 2nd District Engineer Edward Ricardo Ramos highlighted that the 809.79-lineal meter infrastructure at Barangay San Vicente will ease the transportation of farm produce, benefiting local farmers, while also improving mobility and accessibility for nearby barangays.

“This project provides comfort and faster mobility for our local farmers in transporting their products,” Ramos said.

He added that the road will enhance accessibility for motorists and residents, ultimately driving the community’s economic development.

The project also included the construction of stone masonry, which widened the road and improved its structural integrity.

This enhancement not only boosts the road’s appearance but also strengthens the transportation network serving the community. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
