SANTA MARIA, Bulacan — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the concreting of a local road in Angat, Bulacan.
The project, located in barangay Donacion, has a length of 715 lineal meters and a width of three meters.
DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineer George Santos said the P4.8-million road improvement initiative brings substantial benefits by enhancing the transportation of farm produce, which in turn supports local farmers with more efficient crop transport.
The improved road infrastructure will also provide residents with better access to essential services offered by the government, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of the community.
“DPWH is committed to supporting local government initiatives aimed at fostering micro economies through the implementation of road projects like this, thereby creating an environment that generates increased economic opportunities for the area,” Santos emphasized.
The project was funded under the 2023 national budget.
