DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon is set to file the first batch of criminal cases this morning before the Office of the Ombudsman against several officials and contractors implicated in anomalous flood control projects.
The move follows President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to hold accountable those behind the ghost and substandard projects of the agency.
Among those to face charges are personnel from the Bulacan 1st District Engineering Office, along with contractors Wawao Builders, Syms Construction Trading, and St. Timothy Construction Corporation, owned by spouses Discaya, among others.
