BALANGA CITY — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) targets the completion of the Sta. Isabel-San Ramon Diversion Road in Dinalupihan town this December.
In a statement, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said the 1.79-kilometer access road aims to minimize congestion along the Jose Abad Santos Avenue.
“The project, worth PhP91.88 million, was funded under the 2020 General Appropriations Act. It involves the opening of a two-lane concrete road to improve connectivity in Dinalupihan,” the cabinet official disclosed.
Villar recognized the DPWH construction team for continuing to work for the timely completion of the project despite the difficulties poised by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The ongoing crisis may have slowed down our economic development this year but with the help of our workers on ground, faster delivery of goods and services can be expected with our infrastructure achievements,” Villar added.
