TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
upgraded three classrooms at Pit-Ao Elementary School in San Clemente,
Tarlac.
A total of P2.3 million was allotted for the project.
DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala said the repaired
classrooms will enhance students’ learning capabilities and the capacity
of teachers to provide quality education.
“We recognize the positive impact of a tidy and well-organized
environment in fostering an atmosphere conducive to learning, motivating
students to actively participate in their academic pursuits,” he noted.
For her part, Pit-Ao Elementary School teacher Margie Pasamonte
expressed gratitude for the improved classrooms.
“We are very thankful and grateful that our school was chosen for the
repair project. It is important that the classroom of students is
conducive to learning as it motivates their interest to learn,” she
emphasized.
The project was implemented under the Department of Education Basic
Educational Financial Fund sourced from the 2023 national budget.
