Dra. Hazel Tumang, an ENT specialist and daughter of former Mexico Mayor Teddy Tumang, officially filed her Certificate of Candidacy for Pampanga’s 3rd District Representative on Saturday, October 5, at the Benigno Hall in the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando. A sizable crowd of supporters gathered at the venue to rally behind her candidacy.
Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Tumang acknowledged the overwhelming support from constituents in the 3rd District. Former Mayor Teddy Tumang praised the community’s backing, stating, “Thank you for your support. You can count on me to be an advisor to my daughter. She dreams of establishing dialysis centers in towns lacking such facilities, particularly for those in need.”
He encouraged her to prioritize long-term community projects if elected in 2025, reflecting on his own commitment to similar initiatives during his tenure. Dr. Tumang is running under the Nacionalista Party alongside the local Kambilan party.
