A drug den was dismantled and 12 drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino said that on September 10, 2018 at about 10:00 pm, joint elements of PDEA Regional Office III (PDEA RO III) under the supervision of Director Gil Pabilona, Angeles Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Hadrian Street, Barangay Balibago, Angeles City that resulted in the dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of the suspects.
Aquino identified the suspects as Evelyn Sias Flores, a drug den maintainer; Noel Dalina Evangelista; Bayani Ynta de Guzman; Rodel Hinolan Nallada; Ferdinand Riteza Macawile; Salvador Riteza Macawile, a Philippine Army reservist; John Paul Briones Lopez; Jocelyn Arong Laviña; Tikyu Richard Valenzuela; Kenneth Yuzon Garcia; Archie Garcia Abuan; and Ariel Fernandez.
The operating team confiscated 15 pieces of heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 30 grams with an estimated value of Php204,000, and assorted paraphernalia.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Illegal Drugs), Section 6 (Maintenance of a Drug Den), Section 7 (Visitor of a Drug Den), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), and Section 15 (Use of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
